Helpful Tips for Ordering a Cake

Step 1: Choosing a Size

1.   Seven Inch (Round)... 4 layers high... yields 6-8 generous portions.

2    Nine Inch (Round)... 5 layers high... yields 14-16 generous portions.

3.   Quarter Sheet (Rectangular)... normally one layer high... yields 15 portions.

4.   Half Sheet (Rectangular)... normally one layer high... yields 30 - 40 portions. 5.

5.   Full Sheet (Rectangular) ... normally one layer high... 60-80 portions.

Step 1: Choosing a F1avor

Cake flavors include the following:

1.   White Cake- Made with Whole egg, similar to the traditional Yellow Cake, except without the added food coloring.

2.   Marble Cake- Great combination of both white cake and devils food cake. This cake is made of a white base cake with chocolate swirls.

3.   Traditional Devils Food Cake- An exquisite chocolate flavored cake made with just the right ingredients. This is just the right cake for those chocolate lovers.

4.   Carrot Cake- Made with nuts, carrots, pineapple, raisins and spices. Iced with our homemade cream cheese… Carrot Cake doesn't get any better than this!

5.   German Chocolate Cake- A lighter Chocolate Cake topped with our "Original" German Chocolate Icing. 7'.JJ" only 2 layers

Step 3: Choosing a Filling (if any)

Filling is added in between the layers of cake. Note; H filling is added to any rectangular cake it becomes two layers high but is still made from one cake.

Filling Flavors include:

Custard (vanilla)                           Pineapple

Strawberry (preserve)                  Chocolate Fudge

Fresh Strawberry                         Chocolate Mousse

Raspberry (preserve)                    Milk Chocolate

Step 4: Choosing a Frosting

Our cakes are frosted with our Traditional Butter Cream, Chocolate Fudge, Milk Chocolate (Combination of Both Cream and Fudge) "'Whip Cream and "Chocolate Mousse.

Step 5: Choosing a Style of Cake.

We offer Three Basic Styles to decorate your Cake.

1. "Name and Border" ... An attractive icing border, either the same color or a contrasting color to the main icing, plus words of your choice... messages like "Happy Birthday Nick", or ''Happy Anniversary Mike and Anna."

2 "Floral ...All the same features as the Name and Border, plus an array of beautiful icing flowers. These cakes are such beauties; your recipients may not want to cut them!

3. "Special Theme… The ultimate decorating challenge, and for those really special occasions. You tell us the circumstances, and our experts "paint" a picture with icing. Be as specific as you can, but remember that cake decorators are artists. They will interpret your wishes as best they can. Note: Cake MUST be frosted with Butter Cream for this design
